    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ewrt 1a is a required course to take a De Anza especially if you are planning to transfer to a different school. I had the pleasure and luck of getting Ms. Figueredo as my English teacher because she actually cares about student's success and varies her teaching techniques. She is always there to help and explain.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me express my creativity because we always had a free write jornal entry each class. The more you write the more thoughts come to mind, and she always said never let the pen stop moving because anything your thinking counts so write it down.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you need to participate and put in effort, ask questions and get involved. You get what you put in.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This English class is great for students who already have grammar understood and on;y looking to improve in some creative writing. Shirley's class is not very complicated and is fairly easy to pass. I suggest to be there daily, always have your rough drafts done on time to peer review them, and be prepared to writ over and over again. He also gives great criticism on writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned to write without using a formula as well as learning to back up my sources, and creating an argument.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be there every day, ask questions. Not much his class
