Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Ameeta Tiwana is a wonderful woman who taught me so much about anthropology! Overall, the class was easy to follow and I liked how she used visual aids to further explore the topics.

    Course highlights:

I specifically remember learning about Jane Goodall and her fieldwork with the Tanzanian chimps. I loved learning about what qualifies as a culture (proto-culture) and language (proto-language).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study and take good notes! Taking notes is essential, as well as doing daily assignments and homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My Cultural Anthropology professors Mrs. Claudia del Pilar Andrade was such an engaging, inspiring professor. Her passion for Anthropology was evident in her lectures and the path for success and a good grade in her course were outline clearly for students.

    Course highlights:

The highlihts of the course were learning about cultures that were previously unfamiliar to me, and the concept of cultural relativism. Cultural relativism is the understanding that all cultures are simply different, neither is better or worse than the either. It is a simple concept, however combined with the curriculum, it expanded my thinking and allowed me to view different cultures of the world and my own in a new, more insightful light.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor Mrs. Andrade is a fan of hard work and has a very strong work ethic. The course is well-organized, any hard-working student can succeed by spending the appropriate amount of time learning the concepts of the course and studying.
