    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it really helps understand english. I grew so much from learning how to write an effective paper. This class also has a research paper. I was nervous to write my research paper but I was given such great instruction and notes provided by my professor.

    Course highlights:

This class also had a research paper. I was nervous to write my research paper but I was given such great instruction and notes provided by my professor. We read various poems and short stories also and the books were affordable.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My study clips include reading all the texts and looking into sparknotes to help summarize text that are confusing. I liked finding online videos that discuss some of the books that we read

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a fascinating course but I was unsure about the teacher and felt her criticisms of my writing were unfair at times. However the subject matter was generally interesting and it helped me improve my understanding of semiotic analysis.

    Course highlights:

I became a much more critical thinker and we were allowed to write about any popular culture topic that interested us. We also learned about logical fallacies which is always incredibly fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

She is a tough grader. A lot of people seem to like her but I would be careful. I am used to praise for my writing and even though I received an A in the class, her criticisms really hit my self esteem.
