Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the experiments during lab days are quite interesting. The instructor is a funny person and he is easy to talk to.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning conversion factors. Other highlights were lab days. I got to learn how to measure acidity and base, and to convert moles to grams.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always attend class, ask questions, do not do the study guide at the last minute, and take notes that you can later refer back and understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I've never been a fan of chemistry but after taking this class i found a new perspective. I can relate chemistry to my daily life by seeing how much this science really affects us. The teacher made it easy to follow and gave me chances to excel.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would have to be the labs because that's where i got to see the lectures come alive. I learned how chemical reactions take place and how to use all the lab instruments.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to every class but if you cannot make it because life happens, ask someone for the notes. Also tutoring would be a great help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it does not require much of your time. It is mainly going to lectures and making sure to attend the lab sessions. It is a little difficult to understand, but if you take notes and read from the text a little, it should be easy to catch on. It is also important to get the notes from a friend if you miss a day, because the study guide will have a little bit of everything from lectures.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was definitely the labs. Doing the labs are so fun and interesting because we get to use and combine certain chemicals. Not to mention when we get to see the difference in color change. That was my favorite lab. I learned to definitely follow directions otherwise you get yelled at a bit. We must not contaminate other chemicals, otherwise our data and outcome becomes wrong.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise to attend class and never miss a lab. It is also great t get to know the instructor because he becomes a fun person. Also, it is great to go back and review the notes because he goes pretty fast in his lectures.
