Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Doan is an amazing teacher. I struggled with math in high school and I thought statistics would be super difficult, but I was determined to take the class and at least try to learn. He not only helped me gain confidence in my ability to do statistics, but he also offered after school tutoring to all his students everyday in order to ensure we all understood what was going on so we all could pass.

    Course highlights:

Definitely Mr. Doan was the highlight. Other students who took AP Statistics who had a different teacher complained about how hard the class was, but Mr. Doan made it easy and manageable. Also, his teaching was so superb, that I was able to pass my AP test.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY STUDY STUDY! Don't you dare copy homework, you need to actually do it yourself if you would like to pass tests and pass the class. Also, take really really good notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking any engineering elective because it's not exactly a traditional class. They're hands-on classes that help you think outside the box.

    Course highlights:

I've learned how to make prototypes and make current inventions better. Engineering is all about innovation and how to make appliances easier/better to use.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students have to be willing to go out of their comfort zone and not be afraid to ask for help. When it comes to engineering and designing prototypes, team work is very much recommended.
