    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Economics can be an intimidating course. However, Professor Caroline Kaba breathes a new, exciting life into it. Her experience as an economist for the United Nations shines as she brilliantly explains and analyzes various aspects of microeconomics. Although her exams can be challenging, they are balanced by her insightful lectures.

    Course highlights:

Professor Kaba's lectures were the absolute highlight of this course. I was in awe watching her explain concepts such as elasticity, cost analysis, and market structures. Her passion was contagious, and was present all throughout her lectures. I was always excited to attend her lectures. Despite the course's completion, I still find myself applying many of the lessons from that course in my daily life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class, although exciting and insightful, is tough. Achieving a letter grade of A requires a lot of reading of both the text and the lecture notes. Any problems covered in class should be repeated at home; this will help in developing subject proficiency. I would also recommend utilizing the professor's office hours. Her insight is best absorbed one on one at her office.
