    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you still need a required lab course to complete your degree I would highly recommend this class. The professor is very knowledgeable and is very personable and extremely willing to help you when you are having difficultly understanding the material. The textbook is required and WILL be used for reading assignments and canvas quizzes, but the professor likes to mix it up learning with note taking, videos, and group exercises. I took the honors version of this course, and it was the professor's first time creating an honors project, but a she was one of the most resourceful teachers I've ever had when it comes to providing opportunities to get the best possible outcome. She even set up dates to meet with the horticulture specialist and librarian on campus as a group to assist with our project.

    Course highlights:

A good mix of visual, literary, and hands-on learning. The final project involved a field trip up to Spur Cross where we would take notes in a field journal and then you would further elaborate using your learned knowledge from the semester. She truly wants you to succeed and will do what she can to help you; amazing professor and great class!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Communicate with the professor if you are having any difficulties understanding something!
