    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is very clear and thorough on his teaching in class as well as giving aid on tests and homework. For someone who really needs that extra help every once in a while, he is the perfect Calculus professor. He is also very fun in class so his teaching does not get stale

    Course highlights:

Not only did I learn calculus but I also learned the extra applications of how calculus will help with statistics or engineering!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand the material by doing homework and paying attention in class. Attend all class meetings if possible, and though he is lenient on being late to class, try to be there on time as he usually arrives a few minutes before class actually begins.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking calculus two with Professor Kruse, because he is not very clear while teaching. While he is lecturing he speaks very quietly and directly into the board as he is writing down a problem. He often times starts to go off on to tangents that do not necessarily relate to the subject at hand.

    Course highlights:

From this course I did gain knowledge in how to teach myself a subject in order to pass a class that was a required course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course I would suggest reading the book outside of class multiple times, finding examples with explanations online, and going to get tutoring outside of class as well.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

most difficult calculus course taken and lots new concepts to learn.

    Course highlights:

learned a lot to help with the following calculus classes. learned trig substitution, integrals, how to calculate area or a curve which is helpful for cal 3.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

my advice to students thinking of taking this course should study daily, work on homework daily and not miss a day of class. And should not procrastinate at all.
