    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lavertu is a very dedicated to her job. She goes above and beyond in order to help you succeed. She is very good at responding to e-mails right away. The course was interesting and you are given a good background in both intermediate algebra and statistics.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to calculate the standard deviation, box plots, logarithms, scatter plots, histograms, binomial expansions, combinations, permutations, annuities, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you keep reviewing past material because once it's time to prepare for the final exam, you will be overwhelmed with all the information you are required to know. Start studying for the final exam on day one of the course!
