Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend because the professor is wonderful and cares about his students. He is passionate about his job and only teaches his students the best material and most beneficial.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about previous historic moments like the Rodney King Riots and read a good book about them. I learned how to write an A+ essay and research paper. I learned how to correctly research topics and what the best sites to do scholarly research are.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read, but know that all the reading assignments are thought out and beneficial to the reader. Be yourself and don't be afraid of your own opinion!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to any non-English major and English major alike for the reason that the professor will diligently and accurately be rigid and strict in his teaching methods. When it comes to his students, however, he will demonstrate incredible help to those who will want to succeed in his class.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this course was excellent grammar mechanics, correct way to cite sources, thoroughly and concisely explain topic sentences with accuracy and exactitude. I also learned to read with great insight and discernment to understand the books given for each paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, the student must come prepared to share ideas, engage in conversation about the various books given throughout the semester. Other advice is to also ask for help as the professor will give as much help as he possibly can. Furthermore, the student must also expect weekly quizzes as well and to also read the text given as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Gregory Chandler is the best English professor that I have ever had. He is always prepared to answer any questions that you have and is always available for help.

In this class I learned that certain types of essays are simpler than others, and that grammar and spelling is very important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and to the essay prompts and read carefully.
