Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is a overview of almost all the levels of psychology. It is very interesting and amazing about how much psychology the body/mind creates alone and it will keep you excited to learn more

    Course highlights:

I've learned different learning techniques and how the mind processes information more effectively, it has helped me a lot with my studying and learning skills. I've also gained knowledge of different regions of the brain and how each region plays a major role in our lives and how our lives are extremely altered when one region has been damaged, punctured or surgically removed. I've learned that a persons culture, environment, or religious background can condition us to certain things like behavior and personality.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay on top of your studying. It is a lot to remember, but it is well worth it and will help you with retaining information and studying for your other classes. Believe it or not, Psychology is apart of every subject you will learn about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to every college student because I believe that it can help teach people how to deal with others and understand the mindset of many different types of people. I also believe that psychology can help teach compassion and critical thinking to people who may lack those qualities in terms of understanding other people and the decisions that they make.

    Course highlights:

I learned that every single decision that is made whether it be with a concerted effort or a subconscious afterthought is psychological. The clothes we choose to wear, the music we listen to and the movies we watch are all affected by our own individual experiences and psychological makeup.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students that are considering taking a psychology introduction class to make sure to stay on top of the course readings and pay attention to lectures. It is an extremely interesting course but it is important to pay close attention and study whenever there is a chance. The information is dense and many different ideas overlap eachother, which can be difficult to distinguish between if you are not well versed with the course material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ano is passionate about what he teaches and that passion is contagious.

    Course highlights:

He supplemented concepts with videos and activities that helped break up the lecture and made them easier to understand and remember.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

He tells you everything that is expected of you on day 1. This includes what each assignment is, when it's due, essay topics, notes, etc. If you stay on task, this course is easy. I highly encourage you to print out the notes he provides before class and just fill them in as he lectures. Be prepared, plan ahead. Must have a printer or access to one for this class.
