    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a good course that really focuses on the detailed parts of writing. With this professor no little mistake goes unnoticed, and although it can be frustrating at times it really does help one improve their English skills and become better academic writers.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course is that you become more aware of what you say and write within the first week. For instance, I learned about a style of writing my professor called "Dick and Jane" which meant that it was too repetitive or child book like. At first it was hard to distinguish because it seemed so normal, but after a while I began to notice it more which in the end really helped me throughout all my assignments.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do no procrastinate on your assignments and always edit everything you write because she will notice every small mistake.
