    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course considering how much better understanding I have of Statistics than I ever had before. I do not consider myself a "math-wiz", therefore, I was quite fearful of what to expect previous to taking this course. Although, Professor Troxell was patient and certainly allowed his students to feel comfortable asking questions.

    Course highlights:

I gained a thorough understanding of statistical methods such as: estimation theory, analysis of sample statistics, regression, test of hypothesis, and so much more! I know this may sound like I am speaking in a foreign language to students reading this (trust me I would have thought the exact same thing beforehand), but that is exactly my point. As a student, you are able to confidently leave the class knowing this type of material. If you give your greatest effort in this course you have such a stronger understanding of stats when the semester ends, study hard, and good luck to you!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Engage in this class, ask questions, show the professor that you are committed to learning what is being taught, take advantage of the computer center within the lab building as they have many tutors there with advanced math degrees from Cal Poly Pomona. Study hard and try your best in every exam, DO THE HOMEWORK, and you will pass with flying colors.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for people who are not very math oriented, like me! This professor goes step by step and is clear on how he wants things done. All you need to do is listen, take good notes, and get involved! For those of you who are terrified of math, this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to grasp an understand of the language behind math. It really is something you can talk about and have an understand of, it is not just numbers. I can finally read word problems and apply my understand of math. Something I was never able to do before.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to succeed is just you willingness to learn the material. Some good study tips would be to
