    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

OK so these are feelings toward this class, if you want a teacher who wants to personally know you and know her then this is the class for you. She truly knows so much and if I would of put just a little more effort into my studies I could of made a better grade. really it is up to you in this class to give it your all and strive for excellence or just squeak by.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about how the world works and the people who took the time to study it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book!!! And don't be afraid to ask questions.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because of the level of specificity and difficulty, I would not recommend this class to everyone. It requires a strong foundation in science, especially physics and at times chemistry.

    Course highlights:

This course covered molecular biology up to cellular biology. We covered cell parts, macromolecules, metabolism, and genetics. Over all, I learned how organisms are structured and operate.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take a full course load with this class. As an honors course it was very work intensive. Material was so specific and complicated that all students, even those who are used to challenging classes, were very stressed out.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have struggled with biology before but Mrs. Jennings is a great teacher and the course is excellent. If you have a question about something, you can ask her and she'll be more than happy to help. She's very understanding. The homework/study feature is excellent and easy to work through.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about micro and macro organisms, the animal kingdom, taxonomic ranks, etc. I loved the homework we were required to do because it was online and it would ask you a question and if you were unsure the answer, there was a button that allowed you to go back to that direct reading to review and be able to answer it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're required to take a science I'd definitely recommend bio taught by Mrs. Jennings, she's a great instructor and the course isn't the most difficult to understand. It's enjoyable, educational and fun.
