Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

ENGL 1301-1302 with VanNostrand was an incredible course. I learned so much about English in his class. He was by far the best teacher I've ever had, and did not overload us with homework either.

    Course highlights:

I loved reading the old English stories and listening to his lectures. He is a very thorough teacher and never left out any important details. Not only did I learn the history of literature but I also learned how to write a proper essay, which has helped me immensely in college classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must read all the stories he assigns, and listen to all of his lectures. It is important to make sure you understand the stories because many of his exam questions come from them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it keeps you on your feet all semester! We read very interesting and engaging novels and stories that usually have a meaning and a lesson to teach us about life.

    Course highlights:

The most important and beautiful thing that I learned in this course was to read between the lines. To dig deeper that just the surface level. I learned that short stories and poems all come from an inspiration and motivation living in someone's heart.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be dedicated and have a desire to achieve the best that you can be. When writing your essays make sure that you put some heart in it... write from the heart not just your mind.
