    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor made this course much more difficult by consistently changing due dates hours before the deadline. No grading rubrics were even given back to help with improvement.

    Course highlights:

I did not have many highlights nor do I feel as though I learned much.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure the guidelines for the speeches are clear before you submit. Do not submit too early because if the guidelines change you cannot resubmit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The dynamic of the class is interesting.

    Course highlights:

The experience in itself taught me we're all different.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management is your best friend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class takes a different approach. You have two options: either discuss with the teacher what you read or go over a hundred slides. The teacher also hands out points to students when they go beyond expectations. He places a great amount of focus on speaking, presentation, and working in a business environment.

    Course highlights:

Speech is the main focus as it should be. I learned some good techniques for speaking in front of an audience, writing proposals and resumes, and critiquing yourself and others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to get into groups; most of the assignments are group work. Don't be afraid to share your opinions as long as you remain respectful. The reading is not as important as the speeches or essays, but do bring things from the material to discuss for class. Otherwise, you will have to sit through power point slides as a punishment.
