    Course Overview:

He's a great guy and he will always make you laugh. Tests are a little bit hard but all in all just show up to class and you will pass.

    Course highlights:

So far the highlight has been when he tries to pronounce names since there is one kid he can never get his name right which is the running joke of the whole class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everything he gives you since he really does give it for a reason and there really is no busy work throughout the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have always been bad at accounting. The whole concept of Debits and Credits never really made sense. Although it was simple math, it wasn't so simple to understand. This all changed once I started once I started in Professor Chapdelaine's class. The first day of classes he admitted that he himself wasn't a very good student, and surprisingly graduated college with a BS in Exercise Science. But since then he has built an amazing accounting software company up from nothing. Not only is his personal life inspiring but his style of teaching just works. He cares about his students to the extent of making sure he knows their names and gets to know them. He works in the field so he understands and shows us what exactly we need to learn in order to be successful in an accounting field. I went from being scared of accounting to looking forward to going to class every week. All because of the knowledge and hands on experience that I have learned.

    Course highlights:

There are many highlights from this course. What is the most helpful about the course is its very hands on. With it being an entry level accounting course its pretty much a requirement for everyone who is working on getting a Business degree from central. Accounting is just one of those topics that you either get it or its like a foreign language. One thing that is for sure in this class is that the professor works extra hard to make sure that every student really understands the material. He starts each section with a lecture, the follows the next few classes with multiple problems solving them out together in order to prepare use for our homework and tests. it a very helpful class and I know what I have learned in class, I will take with me throughout my journey working in a business field.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advise i would give students is going into the course with an open mind. You are only going to get out what you put in. Although the test are tough and it seems like the homework is never ending at the end of the day its so beneficial. There is no easy way out of this class, but over time you will learn so much and gain so much beneficial knowledge.
