Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class because the Veronica gave us creative freedom. We had to present a lot but we weren't restricted to one focus.

    Course highlights:

I learned to open up and be myself. Although this was a communications class it taught me lessons way beyond just public speaking. But I did pick up on a lot of very useful tips for public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in with an open mind and use it as an opportunity to network. I met a lot of great people in this class because of group presentations. And don't be afraid to add a little fun, this class is a fun class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor was an amazing person whom wanted everyone in our class to learn how to speak publicly in many different scenarios. His class has really provided me with confidence in speaking in my own artful way that shows my true personality. I can enlighten people in any sort of situation using my god given talent and voice without being so called "fake".

    Course highlights:

This class mainly covered the basic concepts of speech and communication in various situations, and the types of speeches that we may encounter in our lives. I learned how to handle anxiety and use it to my benefit when I am presenting. I learned how to outline speeches for the maximum effect on the audience. Lastly, I also learned how to effectively communicate with the audience in my own unique creative way to create a lasting impression on the audience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. Speaking up in front of an audience can be difficult especially if you have a fear of speaking in front of an audience. But, Professor Zell will really give you excellent advice that will allow you to become a master at public speaking. However, you cannot give up. Keep trying.
