This class was tough.
Although I hated doing the problem sets and all the a studying required, looking back on the class, I actually really enjoyed the class. The J.Rod definitely knows what he's talking about, assigns problem sets and that actually help with the understanding of the material that would be on the Exams, which is extremely helpful as long as you actually do them thoroughly enough.
I learned that I like physics, I just absolutely hate quizzes and exams on my conceptual understanding. It was much better in 231 once I knew what to expect.

Advice for students:
If you actually like the material, or actually want to thoroughly understand it at the cost of a hit on your grades, then J.Rod would probably be the right one. Passing this class would mean you at least have a solid foundation of the material needed for the following classes. If you just want it out of the way and get a good grade, should probably take another professor.
