Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Holmes is an engaging scholar who definitely enjoys what he does. His attitude elevates the interest level of the entire class. This quality paired with his intense knowledge of history and economics make his class an eye-opening experience.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was analyzing a powerful thesis by historian Franklin Jackson Turner. points out the "Western Frontier" to be one of the ultimate catalysts of the establishment of American democracy, values and attitudes. I found this particularly interesting because it relates to why Americans act (and vote)the way they do to this day, and how the American west contributed to the spirit of the United States that had made it such a powerful and influential nation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the books that he assigns. The quizzes will be very simple. Also, make friends in the class because group projects are constant and you want dependable people to count on for their part.
