Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this class. Proffessor Haslam is a very good professor; he is funny, he always personally helps each and every student with the essays and not to mention that his choice of stories to read are very good. Also I have found a new process to writing essays where I will definitely get an A once I edit the draft; i don't like the process but it really helps me get to the A paper.

    Course highlights:

Learned about analyzing stories and applying their themes to a bigger picture. Learned to write a lot and then narrow it down and taking out extra information so its condensed down and to the point. This is a very fun class i will miss it a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, you wont regret it. You will learn a lot and will find your way to write a perfect essay. Also you are required to go to atleast 1 office hour for essay edit 1 on 1 which is very helpful. So take this class and get the direct help you need.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. DeFoe is a great professor and is very understanding when it comes to life events and being accommodating. She cares about what she does and her reading assignments were awesome. I tried to do ALL of the reading in her class, but occasionally fell behind (there was a LOT) but I did always enjoy reading what she chose to assign us.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be a critical thinker but also how to analyze texts to garner a deeper meaning from words.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE ASSIGNED READING! Just do it. I know you're taking other classes, but you get out what you put in, and you won't regret it if you just do it. You know what you will regret though? Failing because you didn't read the materials.
