    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is a very challenging course. The student truly gets out, as much as they're willing to give in.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were the projects. Not only did they help raise the score of the student,but they were the few creative projects high school students get to do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    You must read the textbook and do all of your homework! Do not skips out on either of these vital steps for passing and for doing well on the tests.

    Course Overview:

    This class really pays off. It helps students develop beneficial study skills, reading analysis skills, and writing skills that come in handy throughout the rest of their academic careers.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to write thematic essays and research using primary source documents. This course really helps turn students into intellectual thinkers.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    To succeed in this course you have to complete all of your assignments as directed. You should take good notes for yourself, and do some reading every night to do well on exams and homework.

    APUSH was a great way to challenge myself and get a feel of what college level courses would entail.

    Course highlights:

    Our class learned everything about America from Columbus's arrival to recent history, in an extremely thorough fashion.

    Advice for students:

    Read the textbook as often as possible. Knowing as much information as you can retain will only help you in the long run.
