Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Alisha was creative. She taught me to look deeper than just the surface on simple things. She was dedicated to helping me learn and was always there when I needed it. Her learning techniques were unique and I loved them. She didn't teach us to learn things then regurgitate like how I learned in high school. Her techniques required us to critically think and to be creative.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of this course was her encouragement the first day of class, her creativity, and her passion for writing. The first day of class she said, "It is very hard to get an A in my class." Once she said that, I was motivated to earn that A so I went to office hours several times to learn more about each one of the three papers we were assigned. I learned to dig deeper with my essays. Her creativity was the best I have seen in all of my school years. Alisha Chambers passion for writing was evident. She writes her own short stories and was not too long ago a student as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write, critical think, and to be exposed to different teaching techniques. She takes shows such as, Family Guy, Bob's Burger, and dystopia movies and turns it into a lesson. It opens your mind to think about simple things like emotion, yourself, and commercials.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Learn from tour mistakes and build off from them.
