Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you like puzzles this course is for you. We learned Babylonian, Egyptian and Mayan numerical systems. Though they aren't practical, they were fun and easy. We then went in to business math which I found rather challenging, but it wasn't too bad.

    Course highlights:

You learn practical math during the last half of the semester. Mostly things like how to calculate closing costs on houses and cars, how to invest in stocks and bonds wisely and things to that extent. I found this very helpful because I feel confident in that I know how to manage my money.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go to class. Don't skip just because you don't feel like going. The professor covers at least one new topic every class period so attendance is very important. i would not have done well in the class if I had missed a day.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because math is very difficult for me. This was the first class I was able to actually feel smart in!

    Course highlights:

I learned more about life than I thought I would. Professor Endres taught us about how math is actually used in our lives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to class! Also, take very good notes because he puts stars next to things that will be on the test. Attendance is 10% of your grade (a thing in the syllabus I forgot) so make sure to show up.
