    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Her lectures are really slow and she does not go over enough examples. I find the book to be a more helpful resource.

    Course highlights:

So far thermochemistry has been the most challenging yet the most fun to work out.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your textbook and go to her office hours and study hall

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches on the basics of chemistry. These basics are further expanded in chemistry and biology concepts as you progress. This class is a foundation for all chemistry you would need to know.

    Course highlights:

I learnt how to write the formulas of compounds and how to name them. How to balance equations, write the ionic and net equations of chemical compounds. How to find the heat capacity and specific heat capacity of reactions, how to draw orbital diagrams and write electronic configurations. Finally, how to determine if a compound is soluble or not.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To pass this course, you need to understand every concept immediately after class. visit the teacher's office hours and go to tutoring sessions. It is a class that builds on each topic so if you do not understand a particular topic, it is advisable to ask for hep earlier in the semester than when its too late.
