    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the professor explains the subject very well.

    Course highlights:

I think the labs were the highlight of the course. I learned things I did not know about osmosis and diffusion. I also enjoyed looking through the microscope and I feel this course prepared me for future biology classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely want to spend time studying. It will get you far in this class and get study partners.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course solely because it is the beginning of coming into the sciences. This course has helped me go into deeper details on what is the biological study of life and how it has evolved over time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was the mitosis and meiosis subject. We mainly learned about how cell division comes to and how new cells are created, including how they both are very different in their evolving.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY. If you want to understand anything of this course and any other science course, it's best if you take notes in class and study them at least for 30 minutes to an hour each night.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because its easy and you really get a lot out of it. You get to learn all the basics of Biology and its all pretty easy to understand. The teacher is excellent and she breaks every lesson down to a minimum. She gives a very good detailed description of all her presentations and always gives assistance to anyone who needs help.

    Course highlights:

Biology was kind if exciting for me. I took a biology class in high school, but this course went into further detail. The one thing I loved about Biology 150 was I got to do hands on learning with real experiments in the labs.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This class is both easy and fun all together. But for anyone taking this course, I would highly advise you to read your Biology book every day. If you are assigned a chapter, READ IT. Also, do ALL of the homework assignments and any extra credit. Lastly, STUDY FOR EVERY TEST! It will be worth it in the end.
