    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a difficult course, however the material was very informative. It covers the biological systems in the human body. It was very good learning how the heart, lungs, kidneys, etc function.

    Course highlights:

I learned that our bodies consist of 11 important organ systems. These systems all work together to maintain homeostasis in our bodies. It was interesting to find out that our cells never reach equilibrium, because if they do, then we would die. The endocrine system is very important, because it secretes hormones in our bloodstream to perform many body functions. It helps to maintain homeostasis.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes or record the instructor, go over the material each night after class, rewrite notes, make a study guide for each chapter. Collaborate a study with like-minded classmates. Test yourself on the material. Use online resources. Spend adequate amount of hours studying this material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course especially if you are considering going to medical school. This is a requirement at UNCFSU.

    Course highlights:

Learned the physiology of the body in great detail. Started with the cell and ended with the systems of the body. Goes trough each body system and learned the function of each and how they are correlated to each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the questions at the end of each chapter and talk with Dr. Haddad if there are any questions. He will sit and go through each question and explain the correct answer
