Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a very interactive course with a lot of story telling that is relateable to the course. The textbook used is very user friendly, broken up into sections of introductions, vocabulary, terminology, abbreviations, pathology, laboratory and clinical procedures, and many review activities at the end.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the interactive learning games . I learned about many types of diseases, laboratory procedures and how to break up medical terms into roots, suffixes and combining forms to understand what it means.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

An advice I would give is to make flashcards either online or in person to learn all the different terms needed to know for the test. Another thing is that you should have reminders or write in a planner when quizzes and assignments are closing since those are online and once they close they don't open. Make sure when you start a quiz you have time to finish it, some people start quizzes and close their laptop because they are doing something else and then the time expires for the quiz to be taken.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recomend this course to anyone going into any medical career. It would also benefit anyone who may be considering a medical profession.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the human body and all the medical terms associated with it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as much as possible in your free time, because then the terms you need to know become better memorized.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is mainly memorization. Make LOTS of flashcards and take advantage of online flashcard games and utilities. Quizlet takes your flashcards and makes some games and activities out of them! These help a ton.

    Course highlights:

Since I am going to be a nurse, this course was helpful with my knowledge of things in the medical world. It helps you learn how to break down words to know what they mean.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

USE FLASHCARDS!!!! Make sure you know what kind of learner you are, you'll need to know for this course. I'm a kinesthetic learner, so I needed physical flashcards and made games out of them. This class is all memorization, so just figure out how you memorize best.
