Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While I was in this class, I watched both myself and others become better public speakers. It is extremely difficult to give a speech to a bunch of people that you don't really know. This class help boost my confidence and it improved my speaking ability.

    Course highlights:

There were a few things that we did in this class that I really enjoyed. I enjoyed listening to other people's speeches, and getting to know them better. And I also liked do improvised speeches. Our teacher made improvised speeches extra credit, so everyone would do them, and a lot of them were very entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to write your speech. That would leave you with no time to rehearse and time your speech. It is extremely important that you practice your speech as much as you can. The better you know your speech, the better you will present it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this class because it really helped a lot of people get over their fear of public speaking. That is including myself. We did a total of three speeches in the class, and with each one, I became more and more confident with my ability to give a speech.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed listening to other people's speeches throughout the course. I learned many things not only from the professor, but also from fellow students. We were also given the chance to do improvised speeches, and some of the topics that were chosen were very entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not write a speech the day before it's due. That leaves you with hardly any time to practice and time yourself rehearsing your speech. It's important to write your speech as soon as you can, and rehearse it as much as possible.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy class. Not much work throughout the entire semester.

    Course highlights:

It did help me get over some of my speech anxiety.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This was an easy class and an easy A. What you get out of this class is determined by what you put into it. It's really easy to skate by but it can be very useful for some people.
