Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I found Russels way of teaching easy to understand. He is open to going as far in depth as is needed in order for everyone to understand.

    Course highlights:

I liked how Russel didn't make it just about the work. He emphasized the responsibilities we as students have and it's not just about the work it's also about showing up.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to every class, do the assignments and participate as much as you can.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Caston was a great instructor for this introduction to writing class. She encouraged all students to get out of their bubble and have great class discussions. If you hate reading and writing as much as I do, then I highly recommend this class. Caston assigns short story readings that are actually interesting to read and that don't take up much of your time.

    Course highlights:

After you have read the assigned readings Caston would ask the class if they enjoyed the reading for the assigned day. I remember the first time I told her I didn't enjoy one of her assigned readings. She asked me why I didn't like it, and I told her that the story was to complicated to follow. She told me to specifically point out where I lost interest and why I had lost interest. I pointed it out and she helped me better understand the context. making the text clearer and understand what the author meant. Caston helped me learn to go back to readings and start over from where I lost interest and stop there and think why I lost interest in the reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get engaged into the class. This class is great for making friends because of all of the class discussions.
