Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You are given plenty of time to complete assignments, instructor videos help a lot with assignments and the set up for the online class is very user friendly. However the tests take up the majority of the grade so you better study.

    Course highlights:

Everything that I studied in MTH 111 was new to me, so each week was a learning experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study for each test!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The online platform strengthens Math comprehension because the online platform enables students to review lectures until they understand the course material. I recommend online Math if it is hard to follow classroom lectures. I also recommend Math 95 and Math 111 because algebra has a wide array of uses in many career paths.

    Course highlights:

Graphing on the Cartesian Plane is the highlight of this course. Many fields of study require an in-depth understanding of functions and their graphs; since I am entering into the field of Land Surveying, graphing is of special interest to me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in Math 111, it is very important to have a good foundation in elementary algebra. Math 111 is fairly easy if one has a good grasp of factoring polynomials, of working with complex fractions, and of transforming algebraic expressions into graphs. It might take some intense studying in Math 95, but the studying pays off.
