    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jodi was a rockstar. I hadn't been in the classroom for almost 12 years, and she was incredibly helpful in explaining concepts that were so foreign to me. She gave us so many opportunities to succeed and I greatly appreciated that.

    Course highlights:

I appreciated that we got a practice test for each major test. She also gave us the opportunity to test out of the Final by maintaining a certain class average and achieving high scores on tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the school supplies they recommend! Spend the money on the good graphing calculator. Get graph paper. You won't regret it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Heavy on homework, goes quickly through lessons, and those that may learn better on an individual level may seek a different professor, and there are scarce opportunities to cooperate with your classmates unless outside of class.

    Course highlights:

I feel that I learned all that she needed me to in order to succeed in MTH 112, however I put many hours into study groups outside of class in order to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do MANY homework problems every week, and those with employment may find it difficult to distribute your time properly to all the required homework.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this teacher! Stephen has a great way of setting up a step by step process for new learning materials that is easy to follow. He teaches through small group work and he has a fair grading system.

    Course highlights:

Stephen makes complicated math problems appear to be easy with his step by step system. He is really good at communicating to the class about how to work through the problems and is open to students questions. I learned how to fully complete math problems using his guidelines which made learning the material easy and fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly suggest keeping up on the homework and not waiting until the last minute to complete it. Come to class every day and don't be afraid to ask questions.
