    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a difficult class but overall, it was worth the struggle and hard work. Thankfully, I had a study group that helped and supported me all the way through it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the field trips. We went up and down the Oregon Coast's beaches collecting samples and data for our projects for our end-of-the-term presentations. The Professor pointed out lots of organisms and explained the life and aspects of the organism in great detail. We also did some whale watching and spent the night at a museum. I felt the field trip helped me learn more about the subject because it was hands-on and I could experience it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study group! It is important to get a study group together when taking this class. We would study late into the morning and before and after class. There's a lot of homework, so it is important to stay on top of the assignments and get them done as quickly as possible.
