Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

These assignments, such as papers, group work, and tests, all test your learning skills. The tests are mostly take home, which allows the pressure to be gone. The group work allows you to get to know your peers and create great friend groups. Also, these groups also help to understand material that one may need help on. Lastly, the papers allow you to really understand different mental diseases. You learn the diagnosis, the prognosis, which drugs help and the side effects of others. You really begin to understand that abnormal is very normal!

    Course highlights:

The main thing that I learned from this course was that abnormal is normal. There are stereotypes surrounding every mental and physical disease, but just because they are different from what we know, it does not mean it is abnormal. Everyone has something different going on with them, whether it be depression, ADHD, Schizophrenia, or anything else. Instead of stereotyping individuals, we should find ways to help them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, the way to succeed is to communicate with your peers and your instructors. If you have a question, ask it. If you have a difficult time retaining information, form a study group because, mostly likely, you are not the only one who is having a difficult time.
