Marsha Vernoga is a great instructor passionate and straight forward in regards to the material she presents! Nutrition is an important part of every human being's life and this course offers a strong foundation of the biological impact it has on our bodies; Eye opening knowledge!
I learned so much beginning with the role of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins in our bodies, and how to read a nutrition label. I learned about our abilities to turn on and off genes that may lead to chronic diseases, cancer, and other illnesses. I learned about cholesterol, and blood sugar and its affects on insulin and leptin. I learned about the importance of consuming a clean, mostly plant based diet and avoiding processed foods and refined sugars.

Take this course! It will change your life if you haven't already fallen in love with the idea of optimizing your health through nutrition. Fairly easy course as long as you pay attention (which is hard not to do so) and do the homework required which is hardly any. Review before exams and you will get an easy A!
