Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My recommendation of this course is solely based on my professor without her i would not be the student that i am. Because of her i found my passion for writing again. As being one of the oldest students in the class i found that my professor was able to explain and connect with each student individually and address each topic from multiple views to accommodate everyone.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in the course would have to be the poetry portion of the class. During this time in the course i was having family and mental health issues and my professor gave me an outlet to express my emotions in a constructive manner. My professor then told me how she saw promise in my writing ability and submitted my work to a few young writer competitions where i one of my titles was published.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advise to students taking this course is to be patient and take your time on the projects given. I understand that it can be time consuming and there will be times when you just want to give up, but your professor is there to help you and they do want you to succeed if not just as much as you do possibly more.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is actually required. But i would recommend the instructor Marisol Baca, because of the enthusiasm she applied to her teaching.

    Course highlights:

The in depth writing and critical thinking involved in this class is very important and i would consider it to be a highlight. I learned a lot about citations and creative writing in this course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires a lot of focus and determination.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Consolatti allowed me to express myself in my writing, helped me critically analize my text and be able to develop multiple perspectives. Professor Consolatti gave healthy feedback without discouraging his students.

    Course highlights:

The ability to read and write difficulty literature and developing multiple perspectives and ideas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is all about reading and writing. So, if you're not a fan just make sure to speak the professor and go to tutoring. It helped a lot for me.
