Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a wonderful teacher and really explains the course well enough for those to learn and think on their lives and to understand African American culture

    Course highlights:

The teachings of MA'AT is one of the highlights of the class that stdents can learn and also apply to their own daily lives.

    Advice for students:

In order to pass the class you must attend class and do the work. You wont be bored and it wont be a waste of time. The topics will interest you and you will begin to want to be involved in discussions even if you are a quiet person.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because you will learn the true struggle of African American culture. This course teaches you about African American history that you didn't learn before college.

    Course highlights:

What I mostly learned and remember from this course was how we were being targeted racially even by our own people of color. For example, those of us born African American with lighter skin tone were bullied by those who had a darker skin tone. They felt that people found us more attractive, smarter, and intelligent. In reality we never felt like we were better than anyone but they just assumed we did.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to pay close attention when taking this course. It's not a hard course, but can get a little uninteresting at times, depending on what topic you're learning. Showing up to class is vital to passing the class, so attendance is not an option.
