Make sure you have time to study. Science courses such as human anatomy requires a lot of studying outside of the classroom.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Stewart was very dedicated to teaching us. He's monotone, but he tries to have character and he attempts to make jokes.

    Course highlights:

We got to dissect a cat near the end of the semester. I love cats, and I tought it'd be hard for me, but it is actually very intriguing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class and definitely read the text book. I found making flash cards helped a lot for tests because he gave a study guide.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you learn so much. His teaching method puts in a different perspective about biology in general. It is very hard but very rewarding. He understands you as a student and will work with you if you need help. This class is very interesting and worth going to!

    Course highlights:

You have to read from the textbook when taking this course to fully understand the material and get an A on the tests. You learn more about the body than you've ever learned before. For example, I used to not understand how to differentiate types of tissues that are lined in the body. Now, I can tell which epithelium tissue is which and what they're made out of through a microscope! Things that seemed like a challenge in the category of science become second nature!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, you need to show up every day. The teacher thoroughly explains his material through the powerpoints which helped me a lot. He also has clicker questions throughout his lectures, so make sure to pay attention to that. Lastly, reading from the textbook will get you an A on his test. His tests are very hard, due to vocabulary and random questions. Studying is key to succeeding in this class.
