I would recommend this course because it has a lot of information that is applicable to everyday life, especially since we are going through an election year. This course teaches you how to think about issues in multiple ways, and to understand why linguistics is manipulative.
I learned exactly how tricky the law could be interpreted, and how wording can be a major factor in a case. I also learned that it is important to know what a person is going to court for, because if one does not argue a case with the correct law or evidence then it isn't a compelling case. I also learned that the way evidence is handled, obtained, and used in court is an important factor to get correct.

Advice for students:
I recommend creating lists of every topic in constitutional interpretation, constitutional doctrines, criminal law characteristics, and threats to law. It is easier to to separate all of the possibilities correctly into each topic clearly because there is a lot to memorize. And just know that the law doesn't always seem just.
