    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking Professor Rowen for Interpersonal Communication. She was very; friendly, energetic, and passionate about the subject. We also did a Random Act of Kindness project in which we performed to acts of kindness for complete strangers. I feel that this project helped add to my character and that it's inspired me to help others more. It was also touching to be able to hear about the acts of kindness my peers performed.

    Course highlights:

I loved that I was able to incorporate the information I learned into my daily life rather than it being strictly confined to academics. Through taking this course I was able to strengthen my relationships and learn effective strategies for communicating with others. In addition to this, I learned how to be mindful of my feelings and how I convey them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed in this course be mindful that you will need to take detailed notes. Professor Rowen shows a lot of powerpoints that include a lot of important information so it's easy to get off track. This is why it's crucial to pay attention, ask questions, and take notes during lectures. Another important thing to add is that even though this class is Interpersonal Communication there will be one presentation included as the final project.
