Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend him. Its one of those classes where you have a lot of little assignments, but you know your going to pass. Its just time consuming, but he allows notes on the test.

    Course highlights:

Highlights are knowing your grade after every assignment or test immediately after you summit. He is also very nice and helpful. He usually lets students out early, but you can stay and ask questions. A lot of students stay after he ends his lecture, so its not awkward. I would take him again. By the way, he is so funny. At first he seems strict, but I think he tries to scare everyone.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I stayed on top of every assignment and worked ahead.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Stricker was an awesome teacher that made sure her students understood the material. I was a difficult class to pass, but with the help of a great teacher you are able to learn things you never knew before. I would love to take another class with her if the opportunity presents itself. She takes time for her students and shows that she cares.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the financial aspects of a business. I know how to depreciate and apply expenses to Net Income. Also, I learned how to budget for a business and how to manage an office in accounting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read your materials before heading into class as well as completing the homework that Stricker gives out. You may not want to do it, but it helps to solidify the concepts in your head.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher of this course was wonderful. She made what seemed like a generally boring subject, lively and enjoyable. She took time to thoroughly explain each aspect of managerial accounting from the formulas to the vocabulary. Each test was written to exercise our understanding of the material as well as our application of it to real life situations.

    Course highlights:

Well I learned about the differences between manufacturing companies and merchandising companies. I learned how workers are paid in these companies, as well as the breakdown of the types of work businesses do like hourly or by the project.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study for this course, I used two hours for every hour of class time. The work load is heavy and there are many different formulas to memorize. Give as much time as possible to vocabulary as well as explanations on why certain businesses operate the way that do.
