Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
This course is great for people like me whose currently in dchool after 10 years. Professor Hsu is absolutely fantastic and really puts in effort to help students understand the material.
Course highlights:
I learned Exponents, Income Tax, Probability, Percentage, and critical thinking while solving word problems.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
It's a great course for people that are returning students.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because you don't have to buy the book with this professor. He explains things that you might not understand and he takes it one at a time for everyone to understand. He gives out different problems to work on if you are stuck on anything or you just need more practice.
Course highlights:
I really loved how he would let us know when we have quizzes and what to write down in order to practice and pass his quizzes. I learned a lot of financial algebra that included mortgage payments and interests. Those topics come in hand when you want to buy a house or a car.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
In order for success, you would need to actually do the homework to be able to understand what is going in class. It may not seem important to do the homework but it really boost your grade for a bad grade on a quiz. Always ask questions because he won't like it when he sees answers that are wrong and he asked if there was any questions in class.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
The professor made learning more interesting and worked with us individually.
Course highlights:
I pretty much learned an introductory to statistics, data graphing, and financial math.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Study up on everything! Those test are harder than you think they'll be!
