    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Howard tries to make the class interactive, she sometimes assigns reading from the book. I don't recommend buying the book, because we only used it a couple of times. I would advise renting the book or simply sharing with a classmate. We wrote about three papers, but the class is really easy.

    Course highlights:

She always takes a class speaker to class before a class debate.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to start your papers soon and participate in class she gives you point for that

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had Prof Amy Rosenquist (NOT AMY ARSENAULT) for English 102. I knew her prior taking her class but she's a highly passionate professor and individual. She has a few kids of her own and still has time to care and help her students. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class.

    Course highlights:

A caring prof, helpful edits on a paper and is usually very available after class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use your resources as much as possible.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend the professor I had, but you have to take the course. Be sure to look into your Professor choices at ratemyprofessor.com. I didn't and regret it.

    Course highlights:

The class was meant to further our writing ability at a college level. It did that, I believe.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As I said above, research your Professor before hand and it will greatly change your course experience. Also, be ahead of the writing assignments. You do not want to be behind on your research because it creates a chain reaction when you have to peice together a paper with mountains of research still to do.
