    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend the professor I had, but you have to take the course. Be sure to look into your Professor choices at ratemyprofessor.com. I didn't and regret it.

    Course highlights:

The class was meant to further our writing ability at a college level. It did that, I believe.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As I said above, research your Professor before hand and it will greatly change your course experience. Also, be ahead of the writing assignments. You do not want to be behind on your research because it creates a chain reaction when you have to peice together a paper with mountains of research still to do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very interesting class and the work isn't difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to structure a 6 page paper without repeating myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything and study and you will pass automatically.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor for this course was really helpful when it came to doing assignments and homework. The class was not easy at all unless you actually took time to study and prepare for it. We had tons of assignments due every week and they needed to be attended to for at least a hour or two in order to complete them. I spent almost 24 hours creating a 10-15 page paper for it. Using the resources she provided and doing your own research really helped when it came to this course. I would definitely take this course again because even though it was tough, I learned lot from it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the preparation to writing our final 10-15 page essay. I learned a lot about the topic I had chosen to write about and my other peers as well. Pretty much all of us started the course blindly and did not know anything about the topic we chose to write about except for the fact that we were inspired by them and eager to learn more about it. We were given the opportunity to conduct interviews with different associations, get real life input from victims of our topic and find out about the resources related to them as well as success stories from them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to take this course I recommend that you are well prepared for it. You will need a binder and folder with tabs to keep track of all your assignments starting from the first day because they help out when it comes to writing your final paper. I would also attend all the workshops she post online and take advantage of her feedback sessions, as well as her office hours.
