    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Helped fill in the blanks between lecture and textbook. The tutors at the school are good at that too, but scheduling tutoring sessions around full time school and work loads can be difficult.

    Course highlights:

Calculus and learning to calculate points along a curve. This is invaluable to me as a fine arts major who tends to want to map work out on paper to a high level of precision and exactness before working.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Set aside the time for a little extra study and you should be fine. It's all based on a small list of rules that are pure logic and work the same way every time. Once you get the hang of when and where to apply which rules, it becomes a walk in the park.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Kakumanu is a very prepared professor that explains the class very well. She makes the class very interesting and the would help anyone that is struggling to understand part of the material.

    Course highlights:

I strengthened my understanding in algebra. I already had knowledge about the class which made the course a lot easier. In this course I learned different ways to solve equations. I learned how to graph inconsistent graphs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Doing homework is very important to pass this class because practice is the key to understand math. Ask questions if you are not understanding something.
