    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Where else will you be able to learn Hawaiian language? This is a great opportunity to be a part of the cultural revival that is taking place in Hawaiʻi. Kumu (Teacher) Stone is very patient, funny, and has many great, easy worksheets that help learn the language. She is very organized and really allows the students to move at their own pace.

    Course highlights:

I learned a beautiful language. Continuing on to future classes in Hawaiian language has opened my perspective upon Hawaiʻi and the rest of the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, review everyday terms, and talk with any of the teachers! They are all willing to help. Come into the class expecting something new and try your best not to think too much in English style.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is basic Hawaiian 101. So basically its for beginners and for freshmen looking to take an easy elective course for an easy A!

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would probably be learning the native Hawaiian language. its just like high school when you found yourself signing up to learn a new foreign language. This one was pretty neat too, since we're in Hawaii and are learning the native tongue!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Any advice for a 101 class? I would advise taking this class if you want to learn Hawaiian language and want an easy A. You still do need to work for the A, but make sure that you go to lecture, participate in class, and keep up with the readings and make flash cards for your memorization use.
