    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is extremely interesting. There are also three professors throughout the entire course, so even if you don't like the teaching style of one you get a new guy in about a month.

    Course highlights:

You learn so much about the ocean in this course. Living in Hawaii it gives you a great perspective of how the ocean works and what it is doing. You learn the chemistry and physics of the ocean, also the geology and biology of it. You can take what you learn in this class and see the ocean a little differently each time you go to the beach.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not a strong science person this course is definitely for you. It is difficult but as long as you're willing to put in the work to learn you will pass with a decent grade. Just be willing to put in a decent amount of effort, during class and after.
