Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this class. Not only is the course interesting but Dewald was an awesome teacher. It is a lecture class but he is still really involved with the entire class. The exams were difficult if you do not stud for them. It may seem like a course where you can just remember the material but it is not like that.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course I would say would be the professor. He made learning the material fun and he was really engaging which helps you pay attention during those lecture classes. I learned that having an engaging professor has a big impact on your learning for sure.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class because there are attendance quizzes. He is very friendly so don't be afraid to visit office hours if you need any help. This is a class that requires study time so make sure you do not just try and wing your exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology is such a beautiful thing to study. The way the mind works is such a fascinating thing to comprehend. It is an amazing feeling as you learn in more depth about the deepness of your own head.

    Course highlights:

I enjoy the interaction you have as a class and with the professor via demonstrations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and pay attention! Attendance and participation plays a big role in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, it not only offers some closure as to some of the questions you may have about what your brain is doing at times, but it also offers insight regarding why we in society function as we do and how we can all use our brains to help one another.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is mainly using empirical data and seemingly conclusive correlational analyses to understand what the human brain does, under what conditions and why. You learn about how complex it is, and more importantly about how there's so much more to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings, take a lot of notes; you can never have enough. Focus on those slides during lecture, and don't forget to think critically about everything.
