Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this english course because I was taught to analyze books in a different way that I had never seen before. For example, I am able to pick up on details and analyze the symbols to understand a hidden meaning. For example, rain in a book may symbolize a new meaning or new life. This knowledge can help the reader depict certain details that may be not written. One thing I wish I knew before taking this course was to be open the book selections. Although some of the books are not the greatest, you will understand why you read them in the end.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was analyzing gender in the novels. I learned how different books had hidden gender roles. Learning to pick these details out gave me a greater understanding of the novel and why it included.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to read the book, not just read a summary. This allows you to understand the reading quizzes and analyzing that goes with the novel. I would also recommend reading the night the reading is assigned. This will allow you to keep up and not get far behind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course mainly because of my teacher, Mr.Kuhn. He has a way of bringing literature to life.

    Course highlights:

I gained a love of literature and a better understanding of what the authors felt when they wrote their pieces of literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should be open to any new book that you are required to read. Also, you can't expect to spark note or shmoop your way through this course to get a good grade.
