Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I enjoyed this class very much. Alter has done a great job with selecting a faculty that can relay the class subject to the student that allows great ease.

    Course highlights:

It was very interesting learning exactly the way the human mind works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take this class if you are a serious student and can stay very focused. This is a class that has a lot of material to learn.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has the work of an AP course with a great teacher that understands and wants all his students to do their best. The material is interesting and all material is given before tests. I never felt rushed or stressed by the work load. Mr. Rich worked with our schedules but still got all the information in before the AP test.

    Course highlights:

The Highlights of this course for me was learning about our personalities and how they affect how we learn and socialize. The mind is really a vast place with many working parts. That is really what the course is on, learning all the moving parts of the mind. That which we already know and what is still being researched. It truly is fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention in class. He presents all the information through power points but has little review games throughout the course so people do not forget the information. Notes are important but so is listening, he has good little tricks to remember certain material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it gives students an interesting perspective on not just the anatomy of the brain, but the way the mind itself works and thinks. I believe that this course serves a lot of use in terms of real world application and is generally an eye-opening experience for people to evaluate their relationships with others.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about a plethora of mental disorders. I enjoyed getting to receive in depth information on various disorders of the brain, as well as the causes of each. We learn about the parts of the brain, various theories of psychology to explain behavior, as well as things such as personality.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would greatly advise them to pay attention during class, fill out the note sheets, and truly be open to receiving this interesting information.
