    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor's style of teaching is very difficult to follow. I find myself having to further research every single topic at home and am often more lost at the end of a lecture than at the beginning.

    Course highlights:

I am gaining a general understanding of how elements combine in isolated environments. I am hoping to make more connections as to how this affects the human body as my career objects relate to human nutrition, and not the more overarching environment as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to study on your own quite a bit to be successful in this course. Make sure you fully understand the material before moving on to the next subject as each successive topic is cumulative in nature.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldnt recommend the lecture portion with this professor as it can be very uninteresting

    Course highlights:

Trough this course i learned of the basic equations of chemistry such as calculating the molarity

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the review given for each test, the test will be exactly like the test review for the most part

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. If you're needed an into to chemistry class then this is the place to start. Going into this course you won't need a lot of background in chemistry (it is after all an intro course!). However, it will teach you all of the chemistry terms that you need to know as well as a TON of basic formulas that are necessary for a higher level chemistry course.

    Course highlights:

I've gained knowledge in chemistry formulas that will be used in my upper level chemistry courses as well as some fun scientific facts that you may or may not know already. I was also taught a VERY easy way to help memorize the periodic table and the information that it provides which is vital for chemistry!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to just show up to class and TAKE NOTES! Professors give lectures for a reason and if you show up to class regularly and pay attention you can succeed in any course. With this course especially flashcards for studying are extremely beneficial. There are a lot of things that you will need to have memorized for tests such as formulas and elements so making flashcards will help a ton in this.
