    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend it if you really want to understand how to write and how analyze literature.

    Course highlights:

    The best parts of this course are the amazing short stories we get to read and understand.

    Professor Ruane is a very hard teacher but you really learn how literature works.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    She is an absolutely exceptional teacher. Discussions are opinion-based, which is really good. She cares about how you interpret the material and is one of the best professors I've ever had.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about some really cool authors and classic literature.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    It's required for most majors, and if you take Buhrig, you'll get the most out of it as possible.
